Tilaushistoriakeskus in English

Tilaushistoriakeskus (est. in 1933) is an academic non-profit organization that offers advice for organizations that are planning to order or are already in the process of writing their history. Bringing together many prominent historical societies in Finland, Tilaushistoriakeskus participates to discussions on the quality of local history studies and commissioned histories.

Tilaushistoriakeskus is also active in international cooperation. It has organized several Nordic Local History Conferences, most recently the 14th conference in Finland in June 4-7, 2018.
